Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using velocode.ai, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Velocode AI (Sanjna Agrawal, New York, NY).

2. Description of service

Velocode AI provides an AI engineering interview preparation platform including a problem library, browser-based IDE, AI-powered scoring, an interview simulator, and a weekly digest. Some features require a paid Pro subscription.

3. Account registration

3.1

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

3.2

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3.3

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Accounts created with false information may be terminated.

3.4

One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limitations or abuse the free tier is prohibited and will result in all accounts being terminated.

4. Subscriptions and payments

4.1

Velocode Pro is available on a monthly ($19.99/month) or 3-month ($49.99 every 3 months) subscription basis.

4.2

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time via your account settings.

4.3

Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase if you have not submitted more than 3 problems. Contact hello@velocode.ai to request a refund.

4.4

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

4.5

Simulator session add-ons ($8.99 per session, $25 for 5-session pack) are non-refundable once the session has been started.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy our content, scoring rubrics, or golden answers at scale
• Share your account credentials with others
• Create automated scripts to submit solutions in bulk
• Attempt to manipulate leaderboard rankings through artificial means
• Upload malicious code to the code execution sandbox
• Attempt to break out of the E2B sandbox environment
• Harass other users or abuse the community features
• Use the platform to train competing AI models

6. Intellectual property

6.1

The Velocode platform, including its design, code, scoring rubrics, and golden answers, is owned by Velocode AI and protected by copyright law.

6.2

Interview questions sourced from public platforms (Glassdoor, Reddit, Blind, etc.) remain the property of their respective sources. Velocode curates, classifies, and enhances this content.

6.3

Your submitted code and written answers remain your property. By submitting, you grant Velocode a limited license to use your submission to generate your score and improve our scoring models. We do not share your individual submissions publicly.

6.4

Aggregated, anonymised submission statistics (e.g. “average score on this problem is 62/100”) may be used publicly without identifying you.

7. AI-generated content

7.1

Golden answers are generated by AI models (Claude, GPT-4o) and reviewed by our team. They represent strong approaches but may not be the only correct answer.

7.2

Scoring is performed by AI agents and may not be perfect. If you believe a score is incorrect, contact hello@velocode.ai with your submission ID.

7.3

We make no guarantee that practicing on Velocode will result in a job offer. Interview outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the content is accurate, complete, or up to date. Use the platform at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velocode AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or failure to obtain employment. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time via settings. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email with 30 days notice. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
